Amy tagged me about what is in my purse and here it is.... at least the one that I have been using today! (it changes depending on the outfit because I love purses)

Here is everything that is in my purse, wow can you believe it all fits! First in the book that I am currently reading New Moon, you never know when you are going to have a few minutes to read. Next is my cell phone. A Crystal Light Fruit Punch mix in! Yum! Exotic Coconut lotion from Bath & Body Works. Eclipse mints, because I am not allowed to chew gum, but still get rank breath! Tylenol Extra Strength, you never know when you or someone your with will get a head ache or in my case tooth ache. A travel size Redken hairspray, for the bad hair days! Glide dental floss, I am addicted! My Utah State Planner because I forget EVERYTHING! My sunglasses, yay the sun is finally shining! 2 Sharpie markers, one fine tip and one extra fine tip, if you didn't already know, I love markers way more than pens! My keys, duh! My wallet, unfortunately ZERO money in there! My camera and case! And of course lip gloss, maybe a little addiction!! I have 6 different ones. (4 bath and body works, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Lime, and Cinnamint- different than cinnamon I promise. One Strawberry Lancome and Cranberry Victoria Secret)

TEXAS

Devin and I have been planning on going to Dallas, Texas this summer so Devin could try his hand in security sells. We were excited for this new adventure in our lives, but we have decided to stay home in Logan.

There are many factors playing into this big decision. Some of them include.... Health Insurance, after everything that happened to me last summer I am now high risk for health insurance which means, unless I am on a group insurance plan I am not able to get coverage for less than about $500 a month! So it would be hard to leave Devin's job with benefits.

Devin has decided to change his major to Industrial Hygiene. This is a perfect fit for him and will lead him nicely to pharmacy school, but because of this change he will need to take summer classes to get caught up!

There are so many other little factors, and after much praying and deliberation we have decided to stay.

We feel bad that we missed out on our turn to plan the Keller family reunion, and since Celeste has it already planned we will for sure take our turn next year!

This is bittersweet since we were looking forward to going and having a new adventure, but we are very excited to be able to spend the summer with family!

Karaoke Party

Now & Then

1. The things I loved to wear when I was little were: I loved overalls, they were the hottest trend! I loved jelly shoes and leggings with stirrups. I always had huge bows. In my early teenage years I liked denim jackets and major flare leg jeans.

The things that I love to wear now: I love dressing up, but it feels like all I wear are my Best Buy clothes! I love jewelry and nice shoes! I love cute sweaters!

2. TV shows I loved to watch when I was young were: Full house, Power Rangers (I loved the pink one), Care Bears, Rainbow Bright, Strawberry Shortcake, and My Little Pony.

TV shows that I love now: Grey’s Anatomy, Friends, One Tree Hill, Oprah, America’s Next Top Model, and Project Runway.

3. When I was a wee little girl I liked to listen to: primary songs, I listened to Scripture Scout tapes every night before I went to bed. I loved the Spice Girls, Hansen (mmm bop) Britney Spears, Aqua, N*SYNC (Justin was all over my wall—LAME) and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Now I like: Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles, Jack Johnson, Taylor Swift, the JUNO soundtrack, and any random song that I can make up my own words to!

4. When I was little I liked to eat: popsicles and slushies, chips and salsa, chocolate, cinnamon & sugar toast, and cold cereal.

Now I like to eat: slushies, chips and salsa, chocolate, cold cereal, rice, pasta, strawberry yogurt nutri-grain bars, strawberry jam, and chicken.

5. Things that scared me when I was little were: the dark, someone breaking into my house, window peepers, being home alone, losing my family, and spiders.

Things that scare me now: someone breaking into my house, stalkers, being home alone, losing my family, the dark, and natural disasters, car wrecks, and spiders. (Not much change)

Super Fun Night

We had our family over for Sunday dinner and it was such a blast! We love living so close to them and getting to see them so often! Now if we could just get the Keller's and Kara & Jeremy to all move closer!! We had a great dinner and my mom brought cheesecake for dessert! It was so fun, thanks guys for coming over and spending the evening with us! We always love it when your around!

Twilight!

As you all know, I made the goal to read one book a month this year, but when I started Twilight by Stephenie Meyer I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I read this book in 2 1/2 days! It was incredible! The only problem is that this week I have 2 tests, 1 quiz, and a 7 page paper due and I have not even started studying at all because I have done nothing but read! It was addicting and now I can not wait until I start the sequel! (I am at least waiting until Thursday night when my weekend away from school begins and I have no homework) Has anyone read this? What did everyone think?

I love to read!

I love to read, but have had a hard time the past few years making time for it. So, in order to solve this problem, I made a new years goal to finish at least one book every month on 2008. I know, I know, there are many of you out there that read quadruple that, but for me this was a manageable goal that I honestly felt was attainable for me and my hectic schedule! I am proud to say that so far I have been going strong, for the 2 months of the year so far! In January I read Tuesday's With Morrie written by Mitch Albom. It was such a great book. I would highly recommend it to anyone, it is an easy read, but seriously life changing. Thanks to Amy for giving it to me for Christmas, I now have a better understanding of what really is important in life, and have learned not to take the people that I love for granted! In February I read Eat, Pray, Love written by Elizabeth Gilbert. I really enjoyed this book! I also would recommend this book too! It is about this woman who is very unhappy in her life and decides to take a year to discover herself and find out what really makes her happy. She first travels to Italy and learns all about passion, then she spends time in India in an Ashram and finds God and spirituality, her last journey was to the island of Bali, in Indonesia where she learns about balance and love. I loved this book! It taught me the importance of being happy with yourself. This is such a good read!

How long have you guys been together: We have been together since November 19, 2004! But we have only been married since July 2007!

Who is smarter: Devin by far! He is brilliant!

Who does the laundry: Well if you mean the entire laundry process, like loading, unloading, folding, and putting away. That would have to be me. Devin is great at loading and unloading, but NEVER folds or puts them away!

Who does the dishes: Devin does the majority of the time, if he has his yellow gloves!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: I do. We sleep like we ride in the car. Devin on the driver side and me on the passenger.

Who pays the bills: Devin, I am horrible with money!! If I were in charge of finances, nothing would be paid on time!

Who mows the lawn: We don't have our own lawn to mow yet!

Who cooks dinner: We take turns, but Devin is a better cook than I am.

Who drives when you are together: Devin does the majority of the time, but I do take my turn occasionally.

Who is more stubborn: This is a tough one, it usually depends on the situation. I would say that we are equally stubborn.

Who kissed who first: Devin kissed me! It was at CEU in Aaron Jones dorms, Apt #34B!

Who asked who out first: Devin asked me out! We ate at Groggs and went bowling!

Who proposed: Devin did... BOTH times!

Who has more siblings: Devin does, in his family there are 5 brothers and 3 sisters (4 sister in-laws and 3 brother in-laws) I only have 3 sisters (1 brother in-law)!

SIMON

Every Wednesday I babysit the most adorable little boy Simon! He is so fun and Devin and I love having him in our home! The sad thing is that he likes Devin more than he likes me! In this particular instance, Simon and I were coloring. Devin came into the room and Simon grabbed the coloring book and crayons right from under me and went and asked Devin to color instead. Although it made me feel bad, it was so adorable!

Let it SNOW!!!

We have gotten so much snow in Logan, it is ridiculous! This morning when we woke up, Devin had to actually shovel the snow off of the car, because there was so much!
